无机玻璃钢通风管道又称为玻镁风管，是以改性菱镁水泥为胶结料，掺入有机或无机填充料，并用中碱玻璃纤维布进行增强而制成的一种管材。具有不燃烧、耐腐蚀、强度高和重量轻等特点，被广泛应用于宾馆、饭店、大型商场、写字楼的空调工程以及矿井通风、工厂排烟、除尘等工程。在建筑工程、地下工程及工业厂房的通风中，它已经完全取代了不耐燃的有机玻璃钢通风管，并在逐步取代防腐性能差的镀锌铁皮通风管。尤其是在湿度大的地下工程和长江以南地区，它的优越性更为显著。
Inorganic glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) ventilation duct, also known as glass-magnesium duct, is made of modified magnesite cement as binder, mixed with organic or inorganic fillers, and reinforced with alkali glass fiber cloth. It is widely used in the air-conditioning engineering of hotels, restaurants, shopping malls and office buildings, as well as mine ventilation, factory smoke exhaust, dust removal and other projects. In building engineering, underground engineering and industrial plant ventilation, it has completely replaced the intolerable organic glass fiber reinforced plastic ventilation pipe, and gradually replaced the poor corrosion resistance galvanized iron sheet ventilation pipe. Especially in underground areas with large humidity and the south of the Yangtze River, its superiority is even more remarkable.
